Abstract: Information about immunization and how it affects a child's health. Lists the immunizations needed by each child on inside front cover. Each illustrated page includes a caption. At first Mrs. Ari's baby is in bed crying (page 2). There are mosquitos and trash around the bed (page 3). Many other parents have children that have died (page 4). Mrs. Ani takes her child to the health center (page 5). She explains her fears to the health worker (page 6). The health worker explains that if the baby is immunized, it won't get sick (page 7). Immunization protects against diptheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio, measles (page 8-9). Some immunizations need to be given three times at certain ages (page 10). Includes an infant immunization record on back cover.
